ART AT THE MOUNDS DEADLINE EXTENDED until August 25th If you are still interested in setting up a
booth at Art at the Mounds on Sept. 8th, you need to get your entry form mailed as soon as possible! We still
have room and would like to see everyone take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to sell and
demonstrate their artwork. Where else could you rent space to sell your artwork at the bargain price of $30.00
per member & $45.00 per non-member booth? Forms may be printed from our website tri-stateartguild.org or
picked up at Dick Blick or Angel Mounds. If you need more info, please call Carolyn Jones at 270-826-6674 or

ANGEL MOUNDS GALLERY AGREEMENT The Tri-State Art Guild has entered into an "arts" partnership with
Angel Mounds that will allow us to use the Angel Mounds gallery as our home base. We will provide
high-quality, bi-monthly rotating exhibits to fill the small gallery in the interpretive center. All categories of
visual art forms and artisan craft will be considered. We are still working out the details but the first "Invitational
Exhibit" will go up on July 28, 2007. Artists may apply to exhibit for individual & group shows that will be
scheduled on a "first-come" basis. Angel Mounds will take a 10% commission on all work sold during the
shows.The Tri-State Art Guild Exhibit Committee will be in charge of the jury process and all artwork must meet
exhibition guidelines in order to be accepted. Artists who would like to apply for the "jury process" may call
270-826-6674 or go to our website tri-stateartguild.org for more details and to print an application.
THE OCTOBER ALL MEMBERS PAGODA SHOW is Oct. 13-27, 2007. Drop-off/set-up is the 13th at
10:00am-12:00pm. Pick-up at the same time on the 27th. No theme, two pieces max, no reception. Help is
needed to set up and take down display grids. Details on entry form.
SEND US AN IMAGE OF YOUR ARTWORK FOR OUR WEBSITE In our last newsletter, members were invited
to submit a photo of their artwork and email or website contact info, but as yet, we only have a couple of takers.
The website was created to promote our members and provide information about our events to the local artist
community. Please include the tri-stateartguild.org website on your advertising and business cards. By
promoting the website, you help us all. We hope you will take advantage of this FREE service!
MANY HANDS MAKE THE WORK LIGHT FOR ALL Volunteers for Art at the Mounds are desperately needed!
If you are not exhibiting, would you be able to volunteer for an hour or two? We really need help with setup,
take down, children's booth and booth sitting so artists can take a break. If you know someone that is not a
member, but would like to volunteer, please let us know!
EVENTS COMMITTEE MEETINGS will be announced by email so make sure to include yours on your entry
form. If you are not receiving notices from us, please reply to carolynjones@tristateartguild.org and we will
make sure to include you in our address book.
