About the Guild
The Tri-State Art Guild serves the tri-state area of Indiana,
Kentucky and Illinois but has its roots in Evansville, Indiana.
Formerly known as the Evansville Art Guild, the non-profit visual
artist organization was formed in 1999. Angel Mounds has been
our gracious host since the spring of 2007 and we enjoy
working with the Friends of Angel Mounds to showcase the art
and culture of our local artists.
We offer artists networking, exhibit and community event
opportunities. Our members know the positive effect that
participating in art related events has on the community and our
exhibits and events are presented in "family friendly" settings.
We are always on the lookout for innovative ways and creative
venues for our members to demonstrate their talent and market
their art, photography and artisan crafts.
The majority of our shows and events are free to enter and help
promote creativity within the community. Awards of excellence
are given to encourage experienced & novice artists alike to
continue developing and refining their talents.
Mission
Our primary mission is to support, encourage and enable visual
artists in the tri-state area to continue pursuing their individual
art forms.
Membership
Membership is open to artists and artisans working in all
mediums. Membership levels are divided into artist,
student/senior and business levels.
